Geographic Distribution
This species is distributed across eastern Paraguay, far northeastern Argentina's Misiones Province, and southeastern Brazil, ranging from southern Bahia and Espírito Santo south to Santa Catarina.
Movement Patterns
It is a resident species in Argentina, but individuals may move into São Paulo state from other parts of its range during the austral summer.
Habitat
It inhabits lowland humid primary and secondary forest.
