Nomenclature
This species, currently scientifically named Napothera brevicaudata (Blyth, 1855), has also been referred to as Gypsophila brevicaudata under the common name streaked wren-babbler. It is a species of bird belonging to the family Pellorneidae.
Geographic Range
It occurs naturally in Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, India, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Natural Habitats
Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest, and subtropical or tropical moist montane forest.
