About Nanorrhinum scoparium (Brouss. ex Spreng.) Yousefi & Zarre
Nanorrhinum scoparium is an erect, mostly unbranched perennial plant. Its leaves are linear, with short petioles or no petioles at all, and they often drop off early during the plant's lifecycle. This species has yellow petals, and its flower bears a relatively long, more or less straight spur. Nanorrhinum scoparium is native to the Canary Islands, though some sources have proposed that it has a wider distribution. Within the Canary Islands, it grows on dry rocky slopes at elevations up to 600 m.
