About Hedysarum sulphurescens Rydb.

Hedysarum sulphurescens, commonly known as yellow sweetvetch or white sweetvetch, is a species of perennial herb. Leucocyanidin reductase (LCR) is the first enzyme in the proanthocyanidin (PA)-specific pathway; it uses 2,3-trans-3,4-cis-leucocyanidin to produce (+)-catechin. LCR activity has been measured in the leaves, flowers, and seeds of Hedysarum sulphurescens.
