Freesia corymbosa (Burm.f.) N.E.Br. is a perennial geophyte that is native to the Eastern Cape and Western Cape of South Africa. This species grows across a range extending from the Great Swartberg, through the Langkloof, to Grahamstown, King William’s Town, and Butterworth. It can be found growing within both the fynbos biome and the Albany thickets biome.
