Darevskia rudis (first formally described by Bedriaga in 1886) is a species of lizard belonging to the Lacertidae family.
Geographical Distribution
Its known distribution includes the Caucasus region, specifically covering Georgia, Russia, and Azerbaijan, as well as the northern coastal area of Turkey.
Habitat
This is a common species that lives in rocky habitats within temperate forests; it can sometimes also be found in montane steppe.
Elevation Range
It occurs at elevations that reach up to 2,400 meters, or 7,900 feet, above sea level.
