About Dalea multiflora (Nutt.) Shinners
Dalea multiflora, commonly known as roundhead prairie clover, is a species of flowering plant in the legume family, Fabaceae. It is native to North America, occurring in both Mexico and the United States. Within the United States, it is found primarily in the Great Plains and South Central regions. Its natural habitat consists of dry rocky prairies, and it grows particularly well in limestone soils. In summer, it produces spikes of white flowers, with a blooming period from June to July.
