Coursetia axillaris, commonly known as Texas babybonnets, is a flowering plant species belonging to the legume family Fabaceae. This species is native to desert and dry scrubland regions of Texas in the United States and eastern Mexico. It is a thornless shrub that grows to 9 ft (2.7 m) tall and reaches 12 ft (3.7 m) wide, and it is largely restricted to the Lower Rio Grande Valley.
