Endemic Range

It is endemic to the Bangalore uplands of Karnataka state, South India.

Habitat Type

It is a rock-dwelling species that inhabits deciduous forest tracts in mid-hills.

Extended Distribution

This species can also be found in the Hosur/Krishnagiri hills of Tamil Nadu, and in the Bangarapet, Ramnagara, and Tumkur districts of Karnataka state.
