About Clematis tangutica (Maxim.) Korsh.

Clematis tangutica, commonly known as golden clematis, is a flowering plant species belonging to the family Ranunculaceae. Its native range extends from Central Asia to most regions of China. It has also been introduced to western Canada, Czechia, Slovakia, Switzerland, and the South Island of New Zealand. Two of its cultivars, 'Bill MacKenzie' and 'Lambton Park', which are both part of the Tangutica Group, have been awarded the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit.
