About Chloroleucon mangense (Jacq.) Britton & Rose
Trees up to 10 m tall. The crown is extended, compressed, and sparse. The trunk has a grayish outer bark that exfoliates in flakes. There are stipular spines. The leaves are compound, bipinnate, and alternate, with a sessile gland between the base of the petiole and the first pair of pinnae. The leaflets are oblong, about 1 cm long. The flowers are in heads, white, cream to pale yellow. There are numerous yellowish stamens. The fruit is a legume, arched, flattened, green when immature, and yellowish to black when mature.
