Chasmodes bosquianus, commonly known as the striped blenny, is a species of combtooth blenny.
Geographical Range
It occurs in the western Atlantic Ocean, ranging from New York to Florida.
Etymology of Specific Name
The species' specific name uses the suffix -ianus, which means "belonging to", and is given in reference to French naturalist Louis Augustin Guillaume Bosc (1759–1828).
