Chamaecytisus purpureus, also known by the synonym Cytisus purpureus and the common name purple broom, is a species of flowering plant belonging to the family Fabaceae. It is native to the southern and southeastern Alps, as well as the Dinaric Alps extending down to northern Albania. This species has been introduced to multiple locations across Europe and the Caucasus, and it can be purchased from commercial plant suppliers.
