Canthigaster callisterna, commonly known as the clown toado, is a pufferfish belonging to the genus Canthigaster.

Distribution

This species is found in the southwest Pacific Ocean, with recorded locations including Australia, the northeast coast of New Zealand, and New Caledonia.

Size

It reaches a total length between 10 and 20 centimetres.

Toxicity

Like all other puffers, the clown toado is highly poisonous.
