Habitat
This species lives in coral reef habitats across the Pacific and Indian Oceans.
Distribution Range
Its range extends from East Africa in the west, eastward to the Hawaiian, Line, and Ducie Islands, and northward to Marcus Island.
Taxonomy
It was first documented in 1824 by French biologists Quoy and Gaimard, and its accepted scientific name is Blenniella gibbifrons (Quoy & Gaimard, 1824).
