Beta trigyna, commonly known as the Caucasian wild beet and the Turkish wild beet, is a species in the genus Beta. It is native to Bulgaria, Iran, Romania, the Transcaucasus, Turkey (including its European part), Turkmenistan, Ukraine (including Crimea), and the former Yugoslavia. It can also be found growing in waste places in other areas of Europe. This species is a hexaploid with 2n=54 chromosomes, and it usually reproduces through apomixis.
