About Aureolaria levigata (Raf.) Raf.

Aureolaria levigata, also written as Aureolaria laevigata, is a perennial herb with a sprawling, semi-erect growth habit. Like other species in its genus, it is hemiparasitic on the roots of oak trees. It produces tubular yellow flowers during late summer. It can be told apart from its relative A. flava by its characteristic entire, simple leaves.
