Astragalus tragacantha L., commonly known as astragale de Marseille or coussin-de-belle-mère, is a milkvetch species belonging to the family Fabaceae. This plant reaches a height of 10 to 25 cm. Its flowers are white with purple tints, and they bloom between March and April. It grows in sandy soil near beaches, and it is native to France, Spain, and the Mediterranean region.
