Members of Aquiloeurycea cephalica live in pine, pine-oak, fir, and cloud forests, as well as the upper portion of lowland forest.
Microhabitat
Individuals are commonly found under rocks, logs, and other types of ground debris.
Modified Habitat Tolerance
The species can tolerate a degree of habitat modification, and it is also found at forest edges, in rural gardens, and in small patches of forest within urban areas.
