Anemonastrum flaccidum, commonly known as the flaccid anemone or soft windflower, is a plant species that belongs to the buttercup family, Ranunculaceae. It is a perennial plant that grows to a height of 0.1 meters (4 inches).

This species is naturally distributed along the Amur River, on Sakhalin, across central, eastern, and southern China, in Korea, and in Japan. It is sometimes cultivated as an ornamental plant in regions including Sweden.

It can be found growing in moist sites that receive no direct sunlight, in either full shade or semi-shade. It typically grows near streams and ravines in loose, peaty soils.
