Amolops wuyiensis, commonly called the Wuyi torrent frog, is a frog species in the family Ranidae.
Distribution
It is endemic to southeastern China, specifically found in the provinces of Fujian, Anhui and Zhejiang.
Etymology
The species gets its name from the Wuyi Mountains located in Fujian.
Habitat
Its natural habitats are large streams and the surrounding forested areas.
Conservation Status
While the total population of this species is declining, the IUCN does not currently classify it as a threatened species.
