Acanthosaura coronata is a species of agamid lizard, commonly called the crowned spiny lizard.

Activity Pattern and Distribution

This diurnal species occurs in lowland tropical forests in eastern Cambodia, which is its type locality, and in the Lam Dong and Dong Nai provinces of Vietnam.

Habitat and Defensive Behavior

While it is often found near the ground, it has cryptic coloration and will climb trees when it feels threatened.
