This species is distributed across Bhutan, China, India, Myanmar, Nepal, and Vietnam.
Habitat Types
Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest, subtropical or tropical moist montane forest, and scrub.
Altitudinal Range
It occurs at altitudes between 1,500 and 2,700 m, and occasionally descends as low as 600 m.
Migratory Status
It is a non-migratory species.
