About Yaginumia sia (Strand, 1906)

Yaginumia is a genus of Asian orb-weaver spiders that was described by Allan Frost Archer. The genus was established to contain just one species, Yaginumia sia. Originally placed in the genus Aranea, this species was moved to the genus Zygiella in 1942, and was later transferred to the Yaginumia genus in 1960. Yaginumia sia has only been recorded from China, Korea, Taiwan, and Japan.
