Xylophanes porcus Hübner has a wingspan ranging from 70 to 79 millimeters. On the upperside of its forewing, a distinct discal spot is present. Its antemedian and postmedian bands appear as diffuse olive-green clouds, while its submarginal band is reduced to a single row of small dots. This species is distributed from Florida southward to Bolivia.
