About Xerochrysum viscosum (DC.) R.J.Bayer

Xerochrysum viscosum is an erect, sticky, viscid everlasting herb. It is most often an annual plant, but can sometimes be perennial. It primarily flowers during spring and summer. Mature plants typically grow 20 to 80 centimetres (7.9 to 31.5 inches) tall, and are usually heavily branched. Its inflorescence bracts are papery and yellow in colour. This species grows in well-drained soils in open woodland and sclerophyll forest, and is found across southeastern Australia.
