Xenodon neuwiedii Günther, 1863, commonly called Neuwied's false fer-de-lance, is a species of snake belonging to the subfamily Dipsadinae, family Colubridae. This species is native to eastern central South America. Its confirmed geographic range includes extreme northeastern Argentina, southeastern Brazil, and southeastern Paraguay. Its preferred natural habitat is forest. Xenodon neuwiedii reproduces by laying eggs, meaning it is oviparous.
