Viola rotundifolia Michx., commonly known as the roundleaf yellow violet, is a species of flowering plant in the genus Viola. This species occurs in mesic habitats across eastern North America, spanning from Tennessee and Kentucky southward to Georgia in the eastern United States and Canada. It reaches a height of 2 to 4 inches, and produces its leaves and flowers on separate stalks.
