Vinca difformis Pourr., commonly known as the intermediate periwinkle, is an evergreen flowering subshrub. It reaches an approximate height of 0.5 metres (1+1⁄2 ft), and forms spreading mats that grow over 1 m (3+1⁄2 ft) across. This species produces whitish-blue flowers, with a blooming season that runs from late winter to early spring. It is native to Western Europe, where it occurs naturally in the Iberian Peninsula, France, the Italian Peninsula and Sardinia.
