Viburnum furcatum, commonly known as forked viburnum or scarlet leaved viburnum, is a species of flowering plant in the family Adoxaceae; it was formerly classified under Caprifoliaceae. It is a large deciduous shrub that reaches 4 meters (13 feet) in both height and spread. It produces rounded oval bronze-green leaves that turn red in autumn. In summer, it bears scented white flower heads that have a similar appearance to the flowers of lacecap hydrangeas. These flowers are followed by black fruits. This plant has been awarded the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit.
