Vespula arisana, commonly called the Taiwan yellowjacket and Taiwan hornet, is a species of wasp that belongs to the Vespidae family. This species was first described by Jinhaku Sonan in 1929. It is endemic to the island of Taiwan, and its known range extends across the whole island. Due to its restricted distribution and endemic status, little research and knowledge exists about this species.
