About Veronica dillenii Crantz

Veronica dillenii, commonly called Dillenius' speedwell, is a flowering plant species belonging to the speedwell genus Veronica and the family Plantaginaceae. Its native range covers warmer regions of Europe, the Caucasus, and extends east to Kazakhstan. It has also been introduced to the eastern United States, where it occurs in the states of Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, New York, and Virginia. This species is generally viewed as somewhat weedy, but it does not continue to persist in agricultural fields that are managed with intensive farming practices.
