About Verbena gooddingii Briq.

Verbena gooddingii Briq. is a perennial herb. It grows multiple hairy stems that range from decumbent to erect, reaching up to 45 centimeters in length. Its hairy leaves are typically divided into a few lobes at the base, and these lobes have edges lined with large teeth or small additional lobes. When blooming, the plant produces large, dense, head-like spikes that hold many individual flowers. Each flower has a calyx made of hairy sepals, and a pale purple-blue corolla that grows up to 1.4 centimeters long.
