About Venator immansuetus (Simon, 1909)

Venator immansuetus is a species of wolf spider that belongs to the Lycosidae family. This spider is endemic to Australia, and is specifically found in the south-west region of Western Australia. It was first described in 1909 by Eugène Simon, under the original name Lycosa immansueta. In 2015, Volker Framenau transferred this species to the genus Venator, resulting in its current accepted scientific name Venator immansuetus (Simon, 1909).
