Valeriana pyrenaica, commonly known as capon's tail grass or Pyrenean valerian, is a species of flowering plant in the Caprifoliaceae family. It is native to Spain and France, and has become a garden escapee in Ireland and Great Britain. This is a perennial herbaceous plant that grows to 1.2 meters (4 feet) tall. It grows in the Pyrenees and the Cantabrian Mountains, usually growing close to water.
