Utricularia juncea, commonly known as the southern bladderwort, is a small to medium-sized carnivorous plant belonging to the family Lentibulariaceae. It is most likely a perennial species. This plant is native to the Americas. It grows as a terrestrial plant in marshes, swamps, and shallow-water pools, and is found mostly at lower altitudes. It was originally described and published by Martin Vahl in 1804.
