About Uromyces geranii (DC.) G.H.Otth & Wartm.

Uromyces geranii (DC.) G.H.Otth & Wartm. is a species of fungus that acts as a plant pathogen, causing rust disease on geranium plants. When the fungus grows on the underside of geranium leaves, its appearance changes with the maturity of the rust infection. When it first appears, it forms dark spots; as it matures, it develops into orange swellings that can reach up to 2 centimeters in length.
