About Tyspanodes linealis (Moore, 1867)
Tyspanodes linealis is a species of moth in the family Crambidae. It was first described by Frederic Moore in 1867. This moth can be found in Bhutan, the Himalayas, Sri Lanka, the Andaman Islands, Thailand, and Australia; in Australia, it has only been recorded from Queensland. The wingspan of adult Tyspanodes linealis measures approximately 28 millimeters. Adult moths are straw colored. Their forewings have fine black stripes running through the interspaces, plus a fine black line along the forewing margin. The hindwings are suffused with fuscous coloring.
