Typha capensis, with the scientific name Typha capensis (Rohrb.) N.E.Br., is an aquatic plant. It is found in southern and eastern Africa, ranging as far north as Uganda, and has also been recorded in Brazil. In southern Africa, the rhizomes of this plant are used for medicinal purposes. It is reported that it improves circulation and enhances male libido and performance.
