Tulipa agenensis Redouté is a species of flowering plant that belongs to the Liliaceae family. It is native to Turkey, Iran, Cyprus, the Aegean Islands, Syria, Lebanon, Israel, Palestine, and Jordan. It has become naturalized in the central and western Mediterranean, including locations such as Italy, Tunisia, France, Portugal, and Moldova. This plant is a bulb-forming perennial. It grows green stems that bear flowers which are brick red or deep red, with black and yellow markings toward the center. Its petals are oval and tapered, with curled tips. It produces green, lanceolate foliage.
