About Triteleiopsis palmeri (S.Watson) Hoover

Triteleiopsis, commonly known as Bajalily or blue sand lily, is a genus of flowering plants that contains only one known species. This species is found in Sonora, Baja California, and southwestern Arizona. Under the APG III classification system, the genus Triteleiopsis is placed in the family Asparagaceae, subfamily Brodiaeoideae, which was formerly classified as the separate family Themidaceae. The single known species is a bulbous plant called Triteleiopsis palmeri, with the common name Palmer's Bajalily.
