About Triteleia hendersonii Greene

Triteleia hendersonii Greene has common names including Henderson's triteleia, Henderson's stars, and yellow tiger-lily. It is a species of flowering plant native to the Pacific Northwest, where it grows in Southern Oregon and Northern California. A variety of this species, Triteleia hendersonii var. leachiae, occurs in the Klamath Mountains within Curry, Coos, and Josephine counties in Oregon. This variety can be distinguished by a blue median stripe on each of its perianth segments. It was first described as a separate species, Brodieaea leachiae.
