About Tristellateia australasiae A.Rich.
Tristellateia australasiae A.Rich. is a woody liana that can grow up to 10 metres tall. It is most commonly found in mangroves, along creeks, in swamps, and in forests. This species has opposite, pedunculate leaves with slightly papery, egg-shaped leaf blades. It produces yellow flowers that measure 2 to 2.5 centimetres across. The flowers grow on 10 to 30 centimetre long racemes, with roughly 30 flowers per raceme, and flowering can occur year-round in warmer climates.
