Trifolium albopurpureum Torr. & A.Gray is an annual herb that grows either decumbent or upright. Its leaflets range from 1 to 3 centimeters in length, and all above-ground plant tissue is covered in hairs. Its inflorescence is a spike of flowers that is 0.5 to 2 centimeters wide. Every flower has a calyx made of sepals, which have narrow lobes that taper into a bristle-shaped point and are covered in long hairs. The flower corolla, located inside the calyx, is purple and white in color.
