Trichobaris mucorea, commonly known as the tobacco stalk borer, is a species of flower weevil belonging to the family Curculionidae. This species is found in North America. It is associated with the wild tobacco plant *Nicotiana attenuata*, and spends most of its life cycle—from the egg stage through to the adult stage—hidden inside the plant’s stem, where it feeds on the stem pith.
