Triadenum walteri (J.F.Gmel.) Gleason is also known by the synonym Hypericum walteri. This species of flowering plant is commonly called greater marsh St. Johnswort or Walter's marsh St. John's Wort. It is endemic to the eastern United States, where its range extends from Texas east to Delaware, and north to Illinois. It grows in habitats near water, including along the edges of lakes and streams, in marshes, and in swamp forests.
