Tomnashia luteominia, commonly known as the red firedot lichen, is a species of saxicolous, or rock-dwelling, crustose lichen that belongs to the family Teloschistaceae. It is widely distributed along the west coast of North America. This species has two recognized varieties. Variety bolanderi has distinctive red apothecia, which are its fruiting bodies, while variety luteominia has orange-brown apothecia.
