About Titanattus andinus (Simon, 1900)

Titanattus is a genus of jumping spiders, first formally described by George Peckham and Elizabeth Peckham in 1885. The genus name combines "Titan" with -attus, a common suffix used for salticid (jumping spider) names. In 2017, the separate genus Agelista was officially recognized as a synonym of Titanattus.
