About Tilia dasystyla Steven

Tilia dasystyla Steven, commonly called Tilia dasystyla, is a deciduous lime tree species. It is divided into two accepted subspecies, with listed synonyms for the first subspecies. The first subspecies is T. dasystyla subsp. caucasica (V.Engl.) Pigott, which has the following synonyms: T. begoniifolia, T. caucasica, T. platyphyllos subsp. caucasica, T. rubra var. begoniifolia, and T. rubra subsp. caucasica. This subspecies is found in northern Iran, northern and western Turkey, the Caucasus, and Crimea. The second subspecies is T. dasystyla subsp. dasystyla, which is native to Crimea.
