This species occurs at elevations ranging from 120 to 200 meters (390 to 660 feet) above sea level.

Geographic Distribution

Its distribution covers Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, southern Colombia, and western Brazil, with most of its range located within the headwaters of the Amazon river system.
